George Romero's horror anthology, CREEPSHOW has found new life on the streaming service, Shudder. The 1982 classic is one of the most iconic and inspiring entries in the canon of horror anthologies. However, CREEPSHOW is a complete standalone as it stems from the twisted minds of George Romero and Stephen King.
Writer, Director, Producer and Effects wizard Greg Nicotero landed his first gig disemboweling the undead under the tutelage of Tom Savini in George Romero's DAY OF THE DEAD (1985). Nicotero would soon partner up with fellow effects artists Robert Kurtzman and Howard Berger to launch the future Emmy and Oscar winning KNB EFX Group. Among the hundreds of films KNB later work with, Greg and his company would find themselves working on 5 of Romero's feature films including MONKEY SHINES and LAND OF THE DEAD.
